Why, he thought, when someone shows a fraction of general interest it’s perceived as romantic? Pleasantries exchanged between two people can lead to nothing, yet this elaborate idea that they want to see it bloom is born in our subconscious.
Are we all that lonely, or in that moment of vulnerability hope it will be reciprocated. Could this be the cause of hypothetical connections that manifest themselves? Why do we yearn to be wanted? Would it be a shame to die alone; the very way we arrived in this world- cold, crying, and wanting to return from which we came.
