“There’s a difference,” He said, “between still harboring hurt and not being free from it. Something you went through can sting for a long time; freely being open about those feelings isn’t hurt. You’re learning how to move past the hurt by not giving it life. People don’t seem to get that.”

“By allowing what’s hurting to manipulate your thoughts, actions, emotions towards future events. If you’re second guessing yourself from doing anything you know can bring happiness, you aren’t over it.You’re probably never gonna which, in turn, becomes bitterness. Let it go.”
