The internet is like an archive, he thought, the only way something will be remembered is by adding information on a topic into its vast database; text or visual. So let’s see if the research for my book can be found.
He typed in keywords in the Google search bar and the results flashed instantaneously. Problem was, the results didn’t pertain to his specific search. He delved deeper into the web and after a half hour of combing through its layers about an item relevant only 10 years ago- 2006- nothing came up.
Had there been as big of a selfie culture, or at least an Instagram, the results might have proven different. He likes his work to be as accurate as possible, and the images in ones memory bank cannot always be relied on. Neither can the internet days prior to uploading tons of photos simultaneously.
